Shipping Lead

Trillium is Now Hiring a 1st Shift Shipping Lead in Dallas!

The schedule is 6:00am to 2:30pm and the starting pay rate is up to $26.00 per hour. 

Responsibilites:
-Assist management by driving continuous improvement activities within the shipping department.
-Creates written and oral instructions that are needed in the shipping area. 
-Ensure you understand company KPIs and are taking actions to meet those KPIs.  
-Management of the entire Carrier relationship. Example, freight quotes, finding reliable carriers, filing claims, scheduling trucks, etc.  
-Share the cultural concepts of situational leadership and facilitate the application of the transition to situational leadership. 
-Must demonstrate competencies in the following areas: Leadership, Communication Proficiency, Problem Solving/Analysis, Learning Orientation, Performance Management, Technical Capacity, Personal Effectiveness/Credibility, Diversity and Inclusion,

Presentation Skills. 
-Perform additional tasks as needed/requested. 
-Organizational Relationships 
-Shipping Lead reports to the Production Supervisor. 
-Shipping Lead should be receptive to the needs of both the internal and external customers of MUM Industries. 
-Shipping Lead needs to interact with operations/manufacturing/materials to satisfy the needs of the customers.

Qualifications:
-Shipping background is required 
-Experience in shipping of industrial products is preferred 
-Must be able to develop a comprehensive knowledge of our products and processes to be able to communicate and problem solve with freight carriers and internal departments.
