Heavy Duty Mechanic

Seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to add to our team!

Our dynamic organization is focused on becoming the essential link in the international business logistics supply chain. We provide various operational logistics services such as loading, transportation and storage of surplus products. Utilizing Hyster Equipment. 

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week - occasional weekends when needed with overtime available. Senior Level Position: Should be at Master Mechanic level. Pay range $40- $46 per hour, pay will be based on experience.

The Heavy Vehicle Mechanic will be responsible for the general maintenance and repair on forklifts and reach stackers. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining domain specific spare parts inventory, using computerized work order management system and efficiently communicating via phone email and text message. Candidate must be able to stay on task and follow instructions. Candidate will also be required to work on call, as needed.

-Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
-Clear understanding of internal combustion engine.
-Understanding of hydraulic circuits and troubleshooting methods.
-Proficient with automotive type air conditioning systems.
-Experience with bearing replacements.
-Proficient using email and other computer-based applications.
