Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Trillium Staffing is looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator in Wilmington!
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for applying payments and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Post all payments to accounts receivable, including those received via daily lockbox reports, mailed checks, and wire transfers.
-Process credit card transactions:
-Charge credit cards as needed.
-Post payments to customer accounts upon confirmation of deposit via cash sheet.
Communicate directly with customers regarding:
-Incorrect or short payments
-Discrepancies in discounts
-Invoice or credit requests via phone or email
-Prepare credit memos and invoice-only documents based on information from Customer Service Representatives.
-Follow up and collect on past due invoices.
-Reconcile accounts receivable to the general ledger during month-end close.
-Assist the Credit Manager with the preparation and mailing of customer account statements at month-end.
-Generate some international customer statements.
-Release orders from credit hold in the absence of the Credit Manager.
-Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies caused by credit memos and re-invoicing.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
Hours - 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday. Pay - $18.00 once fully trained there is a $2.00 increase in pay.

Education and Experience
-High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
-Minimum of 2 years of related experience in accounts receivable or similar financial role.
-Additional accounting coursework or experience is a plus.
-Proficiency in calculating figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Effective written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Proficiency in using standard accounting or ERP systems is preferred.
