Trillium Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Accountant to join a local manufacturing company and support the daily financial operations of the business. This role will be responsible for managing company financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Additional responsibilities include:
•    Managing daily cash summaries and reconciling bank transactions.
•    Performing account reconciliations and periodic reviews, including intercompany and inventory transactions.
•    Conducting AP/AR analysis and ensuring accurate recording to support cash flow management.
•    Posting journal entries with supporting documentation.
•    Collaborating with team members to complete month-end and year-end closings.
•    Maintaining fixed asset and tooling/project records for operations support.
•    Assisting with tax return processes and ensuring timely submissions.
•    Supporting company budgeting processes.
•    Arranging weekly payment schedules.
•    Assisting with internal and external audits and providing requested financial data.
•    Reviewing and generating financial reports.
•    Performing additional tasks as assigned.

This is a 1st shift position, 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $28 – $32/hour based on experience. This position is full-time and temp-to-hire. The company also offers a full benefits package upon company hire.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
•    5+ years of experience in general accounting or a similar financial role
•    Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
•    Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Plex, SAP, Oracle)
