Web Developer

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a remote Web Developer to join the corporate IT team in servicing branch offices nationwide!

Repeatedly recognized as a National Best and Brightest Company to work for, the Web Developer is responsible for support of design, and maintenance of internal web applications, system integrations, and database-driven services. The Web Developer works as part of a small team to design, build, test and integrate cutting edge web applications, while prioritizing security and ease of use.

Job Responsibilities:

•    Develops and maintains internal web applications, including those integrated with Bullhorn ATS and other enterprise platforms.
•    Designs, implements, and troubleshoots RESTful API integrations with third-party systems and internal services.
•    Writes and maintains PHP-based backend services and scripts to support business logic and data processing.
•    Performs complex SQL queries and data manipulation tasks across both MySQL and Oracle databases.
•    Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support user onboarding, system enhancements, and documentation.
•    Participates in UAT cycles and data validation for system migrations and upgrades.
•    Provides technical support for internal users and assist with escalated tickets related to login issues, SSO, and system access.
•    Works within Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred) for development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
•    Utilizes Git for version control and participates in CI/CD workflows to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
•    Works with Marketing, Risk Management, HR, and other departments to ensure relevant web content. 
•    Promotes responsible usage and care of corporate equipment.
•    Primarily performs office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of Trillium or its customers/clients.
•    Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
•    Performs as a primary duty the design, development, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications.
•    Reliable and dependable attendance is an expected essential function of this position.
•    Maintains the integrity of the pay/bill system, and/or our networks by accurately inputting data in a timely manner.
•    Responsible for working well with others and maintaining positive attitude within a team environment.
•    Participates in and successfully completes all training classes as required by management in a timely manner.   
•    Adheres to Trillium’s Computer & Internet Usage Policy, confidentiality and privacy practices, and all other Handbook policies and procedures, including amendments and addendums as applicable. 
•    Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications
•    Minimum of three (3) years of experience in web development, preferably staffing or related field.
•    Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
•    Strong experience with RESTful API design and integration.
•    Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in both MySQL and Oracle environments.
•    Experience working in Linux environments, preferably Ubuntu.
•    Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
•    Experience with Bullhorn ATS or similar CRM/ATS platforms.
•    Familiarity with SSO integrations and Microsoft Entra ID.
•    Experience with legacy system migrations and data mapping strategies.
