Trillium Staffing is now seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator for a Contract-to-Hire Opportunity in Bronson, Michigan!

Pay: $24.00/hour. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (45–50 hrs/wk expected during initial ramp-up).

We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer in the Bronson area that is seeking a detail-driven Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential, in a supportive, business-casual environment.

In this position, you’ll be at the center of a fast-paced AP department, processing approximately 50 invoices per day through workflow. You’ll collaborate with the accounting team while serving as the go-to resource for AP processes, procedures, and policies. If you enjoy working methodically, thrive in high-volume settings, and take pride in precision, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:
-Process vendor invoices quickly and accurately, ensuring on-time payments
-Match and post large volumes of purchase orders, vendor invoices, and customer invoices daily
-Reconcile monthly statements and maintain accurate AP and year-end files
-Manage the closing of AP records and ensure compliance with company procedures
-Research, resolve, and communicate discrepancies clearly and effectively
-Consistently follow up on receipts and approvals to keep workflow on track

What We’re Looking For:
-3–5 years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
-Strong data entry skills with excellent speed and accuracy
-Solid understanding of Journal Entries, debits, and credits—this skill is essential and difficult to learn without prior experience
-Highly organized, methodical, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced role
-Associate’s degree in Accounting or higher strongly preferred
Ability to handle 45–50 hours per week, particularly during initial onboarding and busy periods
-Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills
