Yard Driver

Trillium Drivers is now seeking a Yard Driver for shifting trailers within the BNSF Railway Yard in Haslet, TX!

This is a 8 week project (with potential for extension), starting the week of August 25, 2025. Schedule is Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (approximately). Pay rate is $25–$26/hour.

We are seeking a highly experienced Safety Driver for an 8-week assignment at the BNSF Railway Yard in Haslet, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive yard shifting experience, strong safety awareness, and prior interaction with Over-the-Road (OTR) drivers. A CDL is highly preferred, though not required. If performance is strong, there is a possibility for additional work beyond this project.

Responsibilities:
-Operate company vehicles safely within the railway yard
-Assist with yard shifting tasks, moving trailers and equipment as needed
-Safely transport crew members, materials, or equipment
-Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
-Ensure strict compliance with all BNSF and company safety protocols

Requirements:
-Proven experience in yard operations and shifting work
-Strong understanding of OTR truck interactions
-CDL license preferred (Class A but B with years of experience is acceptable).
-Ability to pass drug screening and background checks (including BNSF-specific screening)
-Must wear steel-toe boots and work gloves
