Shop Assistant

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Shop Assistant to add to our client’s growing team!

As the Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in all areas of the fabrication department. Duties for this position include packing and unpacking customer shipments, moving parts throughout the shop with a forklift or pallet jack, prepping parts for upcoming work orders, cleaning out the fabrication equipment, and other shop duties as assigned. We are looking for an individual with a good work ethic and the desire to learn and grow your skill set.

This is a fantastic contract to hire opportunity for someone with previous metal fabrication experience or looking to learn the metal trade! The standard hours for this position are Monday-Thursday, 2:00pm-2:00am with flexibility. Wages start at $20-21/hr.

Qualifications:
1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a metal/fab environment ideal but not required.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Forklift experience, preferred.
Reliable attendance a must.
