Structural Engineer
Trillium has an immediate opening for a skilled Structural Engineer in Atlanta!
We are currently seeking a talented Structural Engineer for a Direct-Hire role to help expand our structural engineering team. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and producing structural designs, conducting analyses, and preparing permitting documents for various building types utilizing steel, concrete, post-tensioned concrete, and wood. You will report directly to the Structural Department Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the structural team to deliver innovative engineering solutions and comprehensive construction documentation across multiple projects, ensuring completion within budget and timelines.
-Oversee and guide team activities, including supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of structural designers and sub-consultants.
-Design robust structural systems for a diverse portfolio, including multi-family residencies, commercial properties, institutional buildings, and manufacturing facilities.
-Manage client interactions and ensure project objectives related to structural engineering are met.
-Work closely with project team members, clients, designers, engineers, and other disciplines to coordinate all technical aspects of each project.
Work Schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 1st shift. Annual salary is $90,000 - $124,000 per year, based on experience.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
-Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or a related engineering field.
-Active Professional Engineering (PE) license required, with eligibility for multi-state licensure.
-Structural Engineering (SE) license is highly desirable.
-Background in various structural systems such as steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
-Experience in post-tensioned and podium structural design is a plus.
-Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
-Competence with REVIT is preferred.
-Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
