Concrete Worker

Trillium construction is hiring for concrete finisher in the Baton Rouge area.

The Concrete Finisher handles levelling and grading areas, removing debris, setting up necessary forms and molds. Pouring concrete materials, including cement, sand, water, following precise ratios. Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete.

Duties:
· Place, spread, and finish concrete in precast forms using hand tools and power tools
· Ensure surfaces are finished to required textures (smooth, broom, exposed aggregate, etc.)
· Apply surface treatments such as sealers or hardeners
· Strip forms and clean/prep molds for next use
· Monitor the curing process and protect fresh concrete surfaces
· Read and interpret work orders, production drawings and specifications
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company safety procedures
· Collaborate with mold setters, concrete pourers and quality control personnel
· Report defects or quality issues to the supervisor immediately
· Expansion joint sealing
· Use tools such as wheelbarrows, shovels and concrete mixers to ensure proper consistency
· Pour concrete from buckets and mixer trucks during finishing

Pay rate is $28+/hr (depending on experience). Schedule: Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:
· 3+ years relevant experience
· Must have knowledge of concrete structures, expansion joints and shovels
· Ability to work independently or with a team
- Able to pass pre-screenings
