Quality Technician

Are you a quality-focused individual looking for an opportunity to use your skills in a manufacturing setting, here is your chance!

Our client is looking for a Quality Technician with great communication skills and previous quality experience within the paper, printing or converting industry to add to their team on a Direct Hire basis.  This person will communicate with employees and customers about manufacturing processes dealing with product standards, along with performing final inspections, completing the appropriate paperwork and tracking quality errors.  The Quality Technician will also be responsible for maintaining their sample system, along with offering continuous improvement opportunities within the department.  

There are currently two openings available for a Quality Technician, one on days and the other on nights on a 2-2-3, non-rotating schedule.  The day shift runs 6 am – 6 pm and the night shift runs 6 pm – 6 am.  Wages are based on experience, $20-26/hour.

-High School Diploma or equivalent.  Associates degree is preferred. 
-At least one year of quality experience within manufacturing. 
-Prior experience working in the paper, printing or converting industry. 
-Prior experience using measuring devices.  
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
