Service Manager
Service Manager position available in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.
This is a direct hire opportunity working at an established company. Salary-$55K plus commission opportunities. Hours will be M-F, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Weekends are rare, some OT may be available. The service manager position role involves overseeing service operations, repairs, managing a team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting financial targets.
Key Responsibilities for Service Manager role:
-Manage daily workflow and team productivity
-Supervise and coach service staff
-Maintain department profitability and control expenses
-Provide quotes and manage repair orders
-Ensure accurate documentation and job follow-up
-Handle customer service issues professionally
-Enforce safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:
-High school diploma required; degree preferred
-Valid driver’s license; must pass background and drug screening
-Prior management experience in a service or manufacturing setting preferred
-Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
