Annual salary is $85,000–$95,000, Based on Experience. Work is on 1st shift (Off-Shifts for some projects).

A well-established manufacturing facility in Middletown is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager (Coordinator) to lead efficiency and quality initiatives across its operations. This role will focus on driving measurable improvements in production throughput, process stability, machine efficiency, and overall cost savings. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about implementing sustainable changes that enhance performance and reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities:
Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Champion implementation/ongoing sustainment of 6S practices across facility
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements & lead cost-saving initiatives
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC tools to optimize plant efficiency
- Streamline workflows by reducing bottlenecks and minimizing cycle times
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support safety, quality, and productivity
- Collaborate across departments (e.g., production, maintenance, and support teams) to align and improve processes

Quality & Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Establish/ manage SPC processes to monitor/ enhance operational performance
- Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
- Define/ track KPIs that measure process capability, quality performance, and cost efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address product or process deviations and implement corrective actions

Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Organize and lead Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training/mentoring initiatives
- Conduct time studies, process mapping, and value stream analysis to support data-driven decisions
- Improve administrative and order fulfillment processes by working with supply chain, customer service, and office staff
- Provide regular updates on project progress, metrics, and results to plant leadership

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a continuous improvement, lean, or process optimization role within manufacturing (corrugated packaging experience a plus)
- Strong working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 6S, and SPC methodologies
- Proven ability to lead improvement initiatives and conduct root cause analysis
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage all levels of the organization
- Leadership capabilities with a focus on change management and team collaboration

Work Environment:
- Primarily based on the production floor, with some responsibilities carried out in an office setting
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk the plant floor, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional travel may be required for training or corporate projects
