Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Quality Coordinator in Battle Creek!

Annual salary is $50,000 – $60,000. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1/2 hour unpaid lunch).

The Quality Coordinator supports the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s ISO 9001 quality system. This role develops and maintains quality documentation, analyzes system performance, conducts audits, and coordinates corrective actions to ensure high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
-Coordinate ISO 9001 Quality System: Lead activities to implement, maintain, and improve the ISO 9001 quality management system in collaboration with internal teams and global partners.
-Manage Quality Documentation: Create, update, and maintain quality system documents, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
-Handle Customer Complaints: Organize, track, and follow up on customer complaints and corrective actions.
-Conduct Audits: Perform internal quality audits and support external audits to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
-Analyze Quality Performance: Collect, compile, and analyze data for quality metrics and scorecards. Monitor and report on system performance and trends.
-Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead and coordinate improvement initiatives based on audit findings, customer feedback, and employee input. Facilitate lessons learned sessions and maintain a lessons learned database.
-Collaborate Across Departments: Foster strong communication and teamwork across departments to support quality objectives and efficient business operations.
-Maintain Effective Communication: Ensure open, honest, and timely communication within the team and escalate issues appropriately.
-Prepare Reports: Generate and distribute various quality and performance reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
-Ensure Customer Focus: Promote high levels of customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers through proactive, positive engagement.

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or an associate’s degree with equivalent experience.
-1–3 years of relevant quality or manufacturing experience.
-Solid understanding of quality management systems and compliance standards (ISO 9001).
-Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
-Proficiency in business software, including Adobe Acrobat (editing/forms), MS Visio, MS Project, and mind mapping tools.
-Working knowledge of database applications (e.g., Access, SQL) and reporting tools.
-Strong familiarity with ERP systems, including SAP and Jobscope.
-Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
-High attention to detail.
