This Temp-to-Hire opportunity is seeking motivated candidates who are ready to step into a crucial role where you’ll be assisting in the operation of grain handling, cleaning, and milling systems, ensuring top-tier product quality. You’ll play a valuable role in our organization by helping the Lead Mill Operator, along with being instrumental in ensuring these systems operate at optimum levels to achieve designated quality levels of finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
-Production Optimization: Operate milling equipment at optimum levels to ensure designated quality and extraction. You’ll also monitor the regrind system and collaborate with packaging personnel to keep the system running efficiently.
-Quality Assurance: Maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule and HACCP documentation for your assigned area, ensuring everything meets our exact specifications.
-Operational Support: Perform duties and responsibilities of the Grain Receiver/Loader position on an as-needed basis.
-Continuous Improvement: Proactively partner with company leadership to identify and execute on opportunities that enhance safety, product safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation across the board.
-Additional Duties: Embrace other duties as assigned, contributing to a productive and efficient environment.
This position offers a staggered workday schedule and a shift rotation every 30-days.
-First 30-days: 3 days on and 4 days off, then 4 days on and 3 days off. Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
-Second 30-days: 3 days on and 4 days off, then 4 days on and 3 days off. Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM.
The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. Apply now!
Qualifications for Success:
-Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
-Certification: Must successfully complete the IAOM correspondence course in Milling Science within one year of beginning the role as Mill Operator.
-Availability: Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
-Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for 3+ hours per shift, and up to 10 pounds for 6+ hours per shift.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
-Excellent written, oral, and computer skills.
-2+ years in a manufacturing environment, with wheat milling experience preferred.
-Mechanical ability to operate and maintain milling equipment.
