This Temp-to-Hire opportunity is perfect for motivated candidates ready to join our press operations team. You’ll play a vital role in keeping things running smoothly by expertly preparing and managing dies, handling ingredients, and ensuring a sparkling clean and safe die room and sifter area. Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and receive dies from a production schedule.
-Operate all die room and ingredient metering systems efficiently.
-Accurately add ingredients and keep precise records of lot numbers and quantities.
-Visually check ingredient levels to ensure timely replacements.
-Keep the die room and third-floor sifter areas spick and span daily.
-Adhere to the Master Sanitation Schedule for both the die room and third-floor sifter area.
-Clean production equipment when asked by press operators.
-Provide lists of materials needed to keep your assigned department areas clean.
-Take part in food safety and general safety audits for your assigned areas.
-Help press operators with their tasks whenever assistance is needed.
-Collaborate with leadership to find and implement ways to continuously improve safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
This position offers a staggered workday schedule & a shift rotation every 30-days.
-First 30-days: 3 days on and 4 days off, then 4 days on and 3 days off. Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
-Second 30-days: 3 days on and 4 days off, then 4 days on and 3 days off. Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM.
The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. Apply now!
Education and Experience Required:
-A high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution is a must.
-Be ready to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
-Lift up to 50+ pounds for 3+ hours per shift.
-Lift up to 10 pounds for 6+ hours per shift.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a plus.
-Comfortably manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
