Trillium has an immediate need for an Entry-Level Electrician in Carrington!

This Temp-to-Hire opportunity is seeking an entry-level candidate for our electrical team. As an Electrician I, you’ll be an essential part of our team, diving into the exciting world of electrical systems! You’ll assist in everything from constructing and installing to maintaining and repairing electrical appliances, systems, and controls. Get ready to play a key role in performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting electrical challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Jump in and provide hands-on electrical support to our team, responding to daily production needs and tackling interruptions related to process controls, power system issues, and equipment downtime root cause analysis.
-Help keep things running smoothly by assisting with regular preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment, following established schedules and procedures.
-Learn and grow as you master the use of tools, meters, and technology to troubleshoot facility-specific PLCs, motors, VFDs, and process/support equipment, all while adhering to established guidelines and regulations.
-Be a part of new installations by assisting with the commissioning of electrical equipment, including running/connecting wires, constructing panels/control boxes, and performing other tasks in accordance with the NEC, North Dakota Electrical Codes, and NFPA 70E.
-Collaborate and support other Electrical and Maintenance team members whenever needed.
-Partner with leadership to proactively identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities in safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation.
-Other duties, as assigned.

This position offers a schedule of four 10-hour days, Tuesday - Saturday. The daily shift runs from 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM. The pay rate for this position is $31.00 per hour.

Education and Experience Required:
-High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution with a minimum of 3 years of electrical maintenance experience.
-An Associate’s Degree or higher in an electrical, electro-mechanical, mechatronics, instrumentation, or controls field can be substituted for the experience requirement.
-Lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
-Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
-Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and instrumentation.
-Proficiency in working with 480V systems.
