Trillium has an immediate opening for a General Utility Associate in Carrington!

This temp-to-hire opportunity is looking for an energetic candidate to join our busy packaging department. This position requires a dedicated and proactive person who will ensure our operations run smoothly, safely, and immaculately. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, playing a direct part in production safety and overall operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:
-Maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation records using our Master Sanitation Schedule.
-Contribute to essential cleaning efforts during preventative maintenance, ensuring equipment is spotless and ready for action.
-Efficiently manage waste removal, including trash and product waste totes.
-Support safety and production safety initiatives, actively participating in corrective actions from audits.
-Monitor infeed and outfeed systems with a keen eye to prevent product defect or contamination.
-Collaborate with Silo Operators on daily cleaning tasks when needed.
-Help strategize and execute long-term cleaning projects, contributing to continuous improvement.
-Partner with leadership to proactively identify and implement enhancements across safety, production safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation.
-Take on other duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and commitment.

Schedule is 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

What You’ll Bring:
-At least 18 years of age, ready to jump into a rewarding role.
-Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, understanding the demands of a dynamic production environment.

Even Better If You Have:
-A high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
-Prior experience in janitorial or sanitation roles.
-Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a significant plus.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
