Maintenance Technician

Trillium Staffing has a direct hire opportunity for a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift!

Hours are 4pm-2:30am and pay is $27-31 an hour to start.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
-Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
-Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
-Diagnose mechanical/electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
-Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
-Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.
-Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
-Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments.

Qualifications and Skills:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-5+ years in a manufacturing/plant maintenance
-Steel stamping and forming presses – a plus
-Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics
-PLC knowledge – a plus
-Welding, fabricating, machining experience – a plus
-Experience in a trade school is a plus.
-Knowledge and proficiency in trades of electrical
-Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts – a plus
-Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds for certain positions.
-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
