Construction Estimator

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Construction Estimator in Fort Myers, FL to work with a large commercial developer to support the day-to-day review of drawings, RFIs, bidding, and qualifying bids for multiple projects.

Duties:
-Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements; promote a culture of safety.
-Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify conflicts, inconsistencies, and value engineering opportunities.
-Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates, project scopes, and budgets, providing proactive solutions to potential issues.
-Prepare RFIs, scope letters, bid documents, and supporting materials to ensure clarity and accuracy.
-Maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to support competitive bidding and project success.
-Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to improve bid competitiveness.
-Attend site visits, customer meetings, and internal project reviews as needed.

Compensation:
-Annual salary between $80,000 - $90,000
-401(k) w/ match
-M/V/D insurance
-PTO

Job Requirements:
-Proven experience estimating multiple commercial construction projects under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective in teamwork and client interaction.
-Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project), and other construction-related software.
-Valid driver’s license required.
