Safety Coordinator

Safety Coordinator position available in the Bristol, Indiana location working at our client location who is a leading manufacturer.

This is a direct hire opportunity with a pay range of $23.00 to $26.00 an hour. Hours will be 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Safety Coordinator will report to the Safety Director and will support and improve the safety, risk management, and loss prevention programs. This role focuses on safety training, program implementation, and promoting a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities for the Safety Coordinator position:
-Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards
-Conduct Toolbox Talks and Job Hazard Analyses
-Lead monthly safety meetings and maintain related documentation
-Assist in incident prevention, reporting, and investigations
-Deliver safety training and orientation for new hires
-Identify and address safety improvements
-Stay current on safety trends and practices

Requirements for the Safety Coordinator position:
-Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work independently and within a team
-OSHA 30 and other safety certifications preferred
-2+ years of safety-related experience
-High school diploma required
