Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is looking for Class A Drivers in the Garner, NC area!

This is a delivery driver position that involves inside delivery 50-60% of the time. Pay rate is $29/hour!

Job Responsibilities:
-Operates company owned and leased vehicles safely while delivering merchandise to customers.
-Assists in loading and unloading merchandise on trucks.
-Obtains signature upon delivery and pickup tickets and notes any discrepancies.
-Follows assigned scheduling and routing of deliveries, and makes deliveries on time as scheduled.
-Must be capable of learning and operating truck routing software program.
-May assist in the routing of deliveries.
-Communicates shortages of merchandise through proper channels to ensure accurate billing.
-Operates assigned warehouse equipment in performing the functions of the job.
-Participates in scheduled cycle counts and physical inventory as required.

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience:
-Excellent organizational, time management and customer relations skills are required.
-Strong problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks are required.
-Technical Skills/Desktop/PC Software-Microsoft Office developing required.
-High school diploma or equivalent education and related experience.
-This position requires DOT certification and a CDL A License without excessive moving violations.
-Must be able safely operate a step-van.

Qualifications:
-Valid CDL Class A Driver’s license.
-At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class A driving experience.
-Clean MVR.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
-Heavy work: requires ability to continually lift, push, pull at least 50 pounds or over of product and occasionally in excess of 100 pounds up to 160 pounds of product using prescribed team lift procedure.
