Accountant

Now hiring an Accountant / Bookkeeper in Morton, IL!

Trillium Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper for a small, locally owned, flooring business. Duties will include managing the company’s financial records and supporting the daily operations of the business. 

Additional responsibilities include:
•    Recording and categorizing financial transactions using accounting software.
•    Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoices and collections.
•    Processing payroll and tracking employee hours. 
•    Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts.
•    Maintaining and organizing receipts, bills, and other supporting financial documents. 
•    Handling sales tax reporting and other local / state compliance filings.
•    Supporting general administrative tasks as needed.
•    Other duties as assigned.

This a 1st shift position, 9am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $22-$25/hour based on experience. This position is full-time and temp-to-hire.

Qualifications
•    Associate’s degree
•    3+ years of recent accounting / bookkeeping experience
•    Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Office
