Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Fabrication Technician for a temp to hire role in Grayling Michigan!!!!

Schedule: Monday–Friday 5-3, with some overtime. Pay rate is $18/hr. We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Fabrication Technician to join our production team and support the fabrication department through critical metal finishing, material handling, and general workflow tasks. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools and machinery, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Fabrication Technician Essential Job Duties:
-Perform metal finishing tasks such as deburring, grinding, and sanding to ensure clean, high-quality components.
-Assist with workflow coordination by moving materials, supporting assembly, and operating basic fabrication equipment (e.g., press brakes, box brakes).
-Read and interpret blueprints to accurately prepare, position, and assist in the fabrication and welding of parts.

Qualifications:
-Experience or training in metal fabrication, welding, or machining—high school diploma or equivalent required.
-Proficiency with hand and power tools (grinders, sanders, deburring tools) and the ability to read technical drawings.
-Strong attention to detail with the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely in a production environment.
