Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is looking for Class A Drivers in the Katy, TX area!

Drivers will be using a box truck with liftgate making inside deliveries utilizing an electric jack and hand dolly. May be subject to driving a Tractor Trailer if needed.

Job Responsibilities:
-Assists in loading and unloading merchandise on trucks.
-Obtains signature upon delivery and pickup tickets and notes any discrepancies.
-Follows assigned scheduling and routing of deliveries, and makes deliveries on time as scheduled.
-Must be capable of learning and operating truck routing software program. 
-May assist in the routing of deliveries
-Must frequently move up to 100 pounds.
-Works in warehouse and city/highway driving conditions.
-Can maneuver in and out of trucks during delivery.
-Communicates shortages of merchandise through proper channels to ensure accurate billing.
-Handles stock in a careful and safe manner; conscious of quality and eliminating damage.
-Operates assigned warehouse equipment in performing the functions of the job. Participates in scheduled cycle counts and physical inventory as required.

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience:
-Valid CDL Class A Driver’s license.
-Excellent organizational, time management and customer relations skills are required.
-High school diploma or equivalent education and related experience.
-One to two years previous warehouse experience in distribution environment desirable.
-Experience operating distribution warehouse material handling equipment.
-Must have a valid driver’s license without excessive moving violations.
