RF Engineer

Trillium Professional is now seeking a RF Engineer in Chatsworth, CA!

Schedule is 7:00 am – 5:30 pm; Monday thru Thursday. Annual salary is $140k/year.

The RF Antenna Engineer will work with other Electrical Design Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, Drafters in developing and supporting aviation antennas. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
•    Design, modelling, simulation, prototyping and testing of antennas in frequencies ranging from VHF to Ku-band (i.e. patch antennas, slot antennas, conformal antennas, antenna arrays …)
•    RF 3D modelling, circuit layout
•    Perform circuit analysis using computer aided tools
•    Additional responsibilities as they become necessary.

•    B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics
•    Work experience in design and testing Antennas, OR Passive RF components and subsystems like combiner, splitter, isolator, attenuator…
•    Knowledge of basic Antenna design theory, behavior and fundamentals
•    Experience with EM simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS, OR CST
•    Theoretical and practical knowledge of RF/Microwave passive components
•    Working knowledge of RF/Microwave laboratory test equipment for testing of circuit and subsystems ( i.e Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters etc.)
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Excellent written and verbal communication
•    Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time
•    Knowledge of MS Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
•    Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines.
•    The ability to work independently.  Able to work with different levels of staff and management.
•    Strong attention to detail.
•    Punctual and reliable person.
