Millwright - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction is seeking experienced millwrights for a high-intensity 2-week shutdown in Rosemount, MN.
We are hiring for multiple positions, including general maintenance millwrights, install/demo millwrights, and a lead millwright for night shift operations.
Positions Hiring:
1. General Maintenance Millwrights (2 positions – Day Shift)
-Performing routine and reactive mechanical maintenance in a heavy industrial setting
-Tasks include motor and chain replacement, gear and bearing swaps, cutting, grinding, torching, and welding as needed
-Will troubleshoot and repair conveyors, fans, material handling systems, and production equipment
-Must be proactive and adaptable, responding to equipment failures with urgency
2. Millwrights – Install/Demo Crew (Day and Night Shift Openings)
-Supporting a major multi-level equipment upgrade project
-Work will involve removal of large existing conveyors, setting of new equipment and structures, and layout
-Steel erection on 3-level platforms: complete one level, bring in and install new equipment, then build the next level
-Welding and fabrication work required – structural welding and plate work involved
-Must be comfortable working 50–60 feet in the air, using fall protection and working on steel decking
-Experience reading blueprints and executing precision installs is a major plus
3. Lead Millwright – Night Shift
-Responsible for leading and coordinating the night install crew through demo and new equipment setup
-Ensure all work is performed to spec, on time, and safely under site shutdown protocols
-Must be able to direct rigging operations, communicate clearly with crane ops and trades, and solve problems in real time
-Strong background in mechanical installation, steel erection, and crew leadership required
-Comfortable managing work at height and ensuring safety compliance for the full shift
-This is a hands-on role — you’ll lead by example, not just from the ground
Schedule is 7 days/week, 12-hour shifts (Day and Night shifts available). Pay: $32–$38/hr, depending on experience and position. Per Diem: $125/day, paid for all 7 days regardless of shift or off time. Work will last for approximately 2 weeks (strong potential for future travel work).

Requirements:
-Millwright background with verifiable industrial experience
-Welding ability – structural and/or mechanical (certs a plus but not required)
-Familiar with working at heights and use of full fall protection (harnesses, lanyards, tie-offs)
-Able to pass basic site onboarding (background/drug test if required)
-Must have basic tools and wear PPE, including steel toes and hard hat
-Reliable transportation and availability to start July 21
