Maintenance Technician
Trillium Drivers is now hiring a Maintenance Tech/bilingual is preferred Spanish/English.
This is a full time position, Schedule is Monday through Friday, occasionally working Saturdays. Shift is 7am to 3pm, pay is $23/hourly.
Job description:
-Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to vehicles, equipment and greenhouses and scheduled routine maintenance to vehicles, equipment and greenhouses
-Perform routine checks, repairs and basic installations to electrical systems
-Perform service skills including, but not limited to, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of facilities.
-Perform routine checks, repairs and basic installations of irrigation system.
-Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
-Perform regular preventative maintenance on facility
-Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers
-Gather and remove litter
-Perform other duties as required / assigned by manager

Key Characteristics/Skills:
-Ability to lift 50 lbs. multiple times per day
-Ability to withstand extreme weather conditions that include heat, rain and cold
-Ability to drive or learn to drive heavy machinery
-Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds and hydraulic towers
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-2-5 years experience in maintenance
-Valid Texas Driver’s License
-Bilingual in Spanish is plus
