Trillium Construction is hiring a Solar Project Coordinator / Project Engineer for a well-established infrastructure firm based in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

This is a full-time, in-office position with frequent travel to solar construction sites across Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, with project territory expanding throughout the Midwest. Relocation assistance is available up to $5,000. Annual compensation is $70,000–$90,000/year. 

Travel: 2–3 days/week to job sites (expenses paid). When not traveling, you’ll be based out of the company’s Waukesha office—this is not a hybrid or remote position.

Key Responsibilities
-Manage solar construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout
-Create and maintain project schedules and budgets for utility and commercial solar installations
-Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality execution
-Monitor and track field productivity, labor, and project financials
-Visit solar project sites 2–3 days per week to oversee progress and support field teams
-Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and contribute to a strong safety culture
-Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
-Document and report project delays, impacts, and changes in accordance with contract terms

Qualifications
-2+ years of experience in solar construction project coordination or engineering
-Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and construction documentation tools
-Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
-Willingness to travel regionally during the workweek (expenses paid)
-Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Waukesha, WI
