Staff Accountant

Trillium Professional has a direct hire opportunity in Troy, MI for a Staff Accountant.

This position will provide accounting and administrative support to all areas of the accounting department. 

Duties include:
Payroll  -
-Payroll data entry for field employees
-Aiding the payroll manager to ensure payroll is approved and entered each week.
-Filing of time sheets and reporting
-Assisting with OSHA reporting as needed
-Assisting with certified payroll reporting as needed

Accounts receivable –
-Invoice entry into accounting system
-Filing of invoices and cash receipts
-Assisting the controller with various items:
-Intercompany invoicing between the US and Mexico companies
-Commission calculations and invoicing
-Bank Reconciliations
-Monthly workpaper updates
-Capitalize lease entries
-Monthly transactions for property management company
-Process incoming contracts

Qualifications:
-General ledger experience or equivalent education
-Proficiency in excel
-1-2 years in a similar role with an associate’s degree
-3-4 years’ experience in lieu of degree
-Experience in payroll, data entry, and accounting reporting tools.
-Ability to work 100% onsite at corporate HQ
