Trillium Staffing is now seeking Brake Press Operators in Hilliard!
A growing industrial metal manufacturing company in Hilliard, OH is seeking a 2nd Shift and Weekend Shift Press Brake Operators to join its production team! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a dynamic and quality-focused environment!
This is a temp-to-hire position after 90 days. Candidates will train on days (4:00AM - 2:30PM) for about 1 months before going to 2nd shift. The schedule is 2nd shift Hours - 2:30PM - 1:00AM and off on Fridays. OT typically available at optional. The weekend shift is 6:00AM - 6:30PM.
Pay rate is $26.36 - 29.33/hour based on experience (specific to Press Brake Operation) with a $1.50/hour shift premium (2nd Shift only).

As a Press Brake Operator, candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operation of a press brake machine. This role involves working in a production and fulfillment environment, handling both machinery operation and material preparation. The ideal candidate will play a key part in ensuring quality standards and customer requirements are met efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Select and prepare feedstock materials for outgoing orders
- Operate a press brake machine daily, maintaining strict adherence to measurement and tolerance specifications
- Disassemble large bundles into custom-sized orders as needed
- Package finished materials according to specific customer guidelines
- Use sit-down or side-loading forklifts to transport materials within the facility
- Accurately complete all necessary shipping and receiving documentation, including electronic confirmations using software systems (e.g., SAP or similar)
- Maintain high productivity levels during the creation of finished goods
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, with flexibility for responsibilities to evolve over time

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must pass a comprehensive skills assessment covering reading comprehension, basic math, measurement and inspection, detail orientation, and problem-solving
- Preferably have at least 2 years of experience operating a press brake
- Strong foundational math skills
- Comfortable using computers and basic software
- Participation in a registered apprenticeship program will be part of the initial onboarding and training process
