Production Material Planner

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Production Material Planner in Chatsworth!

The ideal candidate will be a self-started, motivated and demonstrate he/she can work under minimal supervision.  The candidate must have prior experience in Supply Chain and have the ability to work with diverse personalities.  Other qualities include good communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Essential duties:
-Responsible for the development and management of material and/or production goals and objectives in the area of production, planning, stockroom and expediting, shipping & receiving.
-Manage the material functions including master scheduling, planning, and acquisition and material distribution.
-Work closely with manufacturing and engineering departments.
-Plan, develop and administer policies, procedures and work instructions.
-Follow-up, expedite and counsel departments as required to maintain valid production schedules in support of company goals.
-Responsible for auditing inventory records. 
-Responsible for providing lead times to Sales for New Order Entries
-Responsible for the MRP planning.

Schedule is day shift (6:15 am – 4:45 pm, Monday thru Thursday). Pay rate is $25.00 -27.00 per hour DOE. This opportunity is Temp to Hire.

-Must exhibit good judgment and professional integrity.
-5 years proven experience in production/material planning.
-Experience with machine shop parts a plus.
-Must possess good verbal and written communication.
-Strong computer skills to include MRP system, Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Experience in the aerospace related industry (aircraft) a plus.
