Project Manager
Trillium Professional is now seeking a Project Manager for work in Richmond!
Client is seeking an IT project manager to manage the planning, implementation, and close out of various cybersecurity projects aimed at improving local government cybersecurity practices.
Client is initiating a series of projects to manage and reduce systemic cyber risk with local government entities and is seeking an IT project manager to manage these projects. This individual will be responsible for managing the planning, implementation, and close out of various cybersecurity projects aimed at improving local government cybersecurity practices.
Key Responsibilities
-Managing medium complexity cybersecurity projects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring on time and on budget delivery
-Manage day-to-day project activities, including task assignments, progress tracking, budget tracking and issue resolution
-Monitor project progress, anticipate and identify potential risks or delays; assist in implementing mitigation strategies as needed
-Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across state and local government and third-party suppliers to ensure project alignment and successful delivery
-Developing, organizing and maintaining project documentation, including documentation required for federal grant compliance
-Other SLCGP (State and Locality Cybersecurity Grant Program) related tasks as assigned

Requirements:
-Strong organization skills including attention to detail, multitasking Required 5 Years
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Required 5 Years
-Active PMP certification required from PMI Required
-Experience leading cybersecurity projects Desired 10 Years
-Experience with state and/or federal government IT procurement requirements and procurement laws and processes as it relates to managing projects Desired
-Experience with managing grant funded projects (federal, state or not-for-profit) Desired 3 Years
-Proven working experience in project management Desired 5 Years
-Strong written and verbal communication skills Desired 5 Years
-Experience with utilizing PlanView AgilePlace Nice to have
