Carpenter

Trillium Construction is now seeking Carpenters for long-term work in Montrose, MN!

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week and starts ASAP! Pay rate is $20-23 per hour. 

We’re seeking experienced carpenters for a long-term, full-time opportunity in Montrose, MN. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team, following direction from foremen and lead carpenters, and upholding high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
-Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures; pass safety tests and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
-Communicate effectively with crew members and leadership; follow instructions and prioritize tasks daily.
-Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to prepare project layouts and determine materials and dimensions.
-Accurately measure, mark, and cut materials using hand tools, machines, and power tools.
-Square walls and correctly install sheathing.
-Assemble and fasten framework or props using appropriate tools and techniques (screws, nails, dowel pins, glue, etc.).
-Install structural elements and fixtures including windows, frames, flooring, trim, and hardware.
-Select and stage materials for crews and leads as needed.
-Follow proper nailing and fastening procedures for all applications.
-Use hand, pneumatic, and power tools to install sheathing and components for walls and roofs.
-Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with quality standards.

-Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-Basic personal tool set
-Reliable transportation
-Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
