Hi Lo Operator

Trillium Staffing is now seeking experienced Hi-Lo Operators in Warren, MI!

Pay rate is $15/hour. This is a temp-to-hire position after 90 days. Schedule is 1st shift, 7:00AM – 5:30PM. OT is based on orders. OT is not consistent but applicant should be flexible if needed to support increases in orders during week. Occasional Saturday work is required; Saturday shifts are 4 hours. Lunch is 11:45AM to 12:15PM.

Key Responsibilities:
-    Retrieve tickets from shipping office.
-    Operate safely, at all times, in warehouse that supports shipping.
-    Pull THE CORRECT material based on the ticket/order.
-    Safely move material from support warehouse staging area, based on ticket information. Will be trained.
-    Follow basic safety procedures and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
-    Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor. 
-    Perform basic clean up activities, as needed.

-    Must be able to perform simple math and read/write/speak in English.
-    Candidates MUST be ok with repetition!  They will continuously be performing the same activities.  Must also be flexible and willing to shift gears in accordance with customer needs and manager’s expectations.
-    At least 1 year of previous forklift or hi-lo experience
-    Must be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, as needed.
-    Comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
-   Standing, bending, walking for extended periods is required as part of this role. Candidate must be physically able to do the job!
