Drywall Superintendent - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction is hiring for a Traveling Drywall Superintendent to help oversee the installation of drywall on a large-scale commercial project in Ft. Lauderdale, FL!
This role ensures that work is performed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in large-scale commercial drywall projects and excels at managing crews, subcontractors, schedules, and inspections.
Duties:
-Lead and supervise all on-site drywall installation activities from layout to finish.
-Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules and budgets.
-Work closely with the Project Manager, General Contractor, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
-Monitor field productivity and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and quality.
-Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure full compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
-Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to direct installation crews accurately.
-Manage site logistics, deliveries, and inventory of materials.
-Inspect and verify that all drywall work meets project plans, codes, and quality standards.
-Resolve field issues and conflicts proactively to avoid delays or rework.
-Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and progress reports.
Compensation:
-Salary between $100,000 - $110,000
-Per diem, if needed

Qualifications:
-Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in commercial drywall, including 3+ years as a superintendent.
-Demonstrated success managing large-scale drywall projects in commercial construction (e.g., hospitals, hotels, corporate campuses).
-Extensive knowledge of drywall systems, framing, finishes, and industry standards.
-Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage large crews and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
-Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents.
-Proficient with construction technology tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or PlanGrid preferred.
-OSHA 30 certification required.
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
