Forklift Operator
Forklift operator position available at a machine shop in the Battle Creek, Michigan area.
This is a temporary position expected to last 6-8 weeks due to an inventory project. This is a 1st shift position with a pay rate of $19.00 an hour. Hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. M-F, with no OT expected at this time. Must be flexible if this changes.
Forklift operator duties:
-Moving of inventory
-Count pieces of steel
-Verify counts are accurate
-Move steel as needed

Requirements for the forklift operator position:
-Forklift experience needed.
-Basic counting skills required
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if needed
-Must adhere to PPE requirements
-Steel toe boots required
-Must pass pre-employment screenings
