Lead Analyst
Trillium Professional is now seeking a Lead Analyst Revenue Cycle Application Acute/Ambulatory for direct-hire in Glendale!
The Lead Revenue Cycle IT Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing MEDITECH Billing and Accounts Receivable (B/AR) systems across a multi-hospital healthcare system. This role ensures that revenue cycle processes, workflows, and technologies are aligned to drive operational efficiency, compliance, and financial performance.
The Lead Analyst will collaborate with clinical, financial, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, implement system enhancements, and provide ongoing support for the MEDITECH B/AR module. Additionally, the Lead Analyst will also work directly with Central Billing Office counterparts to support and ensure the proper functioning of all extracts and interfaces from the MEDITECH B/AR systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations within the MEDITECH B/AR module, ensuring system stability and identifying areas for performance improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to billing, claims processing, and accounts receivable workflows for both Acute and Ambulatory environments.
• Develop, test, and maintain interfaces between MEDITECH and other systems, such as clearinghouses and payer platforms.
• Support revenue cycle processes across integrating applications and solutions working with counterparts within the Central Billing Office (CBO).
• Identify opportunities to optimize the MEDITECH platform to improve revenue cycle efficiency and reduce billing errors.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle and IT teams to implement new MEDITECH functionalities, configurations, and updates.
• Test and validate system upgrades, patches, and customizations to ensure compliance and performance.
• Work closely with billing and accounts receivable teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Liaise with clinical, financial, and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration of revenue cycle systems with other applications.
• Partner with IT counterparts to align systems with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Create user training materials and provide hands-on training for revenue cycle staff.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Generate reports and dashboards to monitor system performance, billing metrics, and accounts receivable trends.
• Ensure that systems and processes comply with HIPAA, CMS, and other healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive patient and financial information.

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare informatics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in healthcare IT revenue cycle management, with expertise in MEDITECH Billing/Accounts Receivable systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare billing processes, claims management, and payer requirements.
• Experience with system integrations, HL7 interfaces, and clearinghouse workflows.
• Strong knowledge of MEDITECH platforms and revenue cycle functionalities.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and end-users.
• Demonstrated ability to lead revenue cycle projects, introducing new functionalities and improving overall performance within the department.
• Proven leadership skills to guide the Revenue Cycle team and direct actions to ensure success for both the team and the organization as a whole.
