Trillium Construction is hiring for a Field Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC to assist on large-scale commercial construction projects in the area.

This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a competitive salary and benefits!

Duties: 
-Support daily field operations, including scheduling, coordination, and quality control. 
-Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports. 
-Track and update project schedules and progress using scheduling software. 
-Conduct on-site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. 
-Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. 
-Assist with quantity takeoffs, material procurement, and cost tracking. 
-Participate in project meetings and document key outcomes and action items. 
-Maintain and update construction drawings and specifications in the field. 
-Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to identify and resolve field issues. 
-Enforce site safety policies and support company safety initiatives. 

Compensation:
-Annual salary between $80,000 - $90,000
-M/V/D benefits
-PTO
-Holidays

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. 
-1–3 years of experience in commercial construction preferred (internship or co-op experience accepted). 
-Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment. 
-Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera). 
-Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. 
-OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain. 
-Ability to work on-site daily and travel between job sites as required.
