Ironworker - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking Ironworkers / Structural Welders for a project in Sparks, NV!

Candidates will be focused on the assembly and installation of structural steel platforms for equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in welding and steel erection, with a specific focus on precise fit-up, alignment, and rigging. Work may be performed at heights and in active industrial environments. 

Responsibilities
- Install steel support structures and equipment platforms based on engineered drawings
- Perform field welding using SMAW to secure platform components 
- Read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and technical documents 
- Align and bolt/weld beams, columns, stairs, and guardrails according to project specs 
- Use rigging equipment to hoist and position structural components safely
- Ensure platforms are level, secure, and meet load-bearing requirements
- Perform quality checks on welds and bolt connections for structural integrity 
- Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, and lifting devices

Pay rate is $35 per hour. Per Diem: $120 / day for all 7 days if the full schedule is worked. Schedule: Mon - Sat, 60h / week.

Qualifications
-Ability to pass pre-screenings
-Active D1.1 Certification
-Should be 1/2in SMAW in both 3G/4G positions.
-Taken and passed within the last 6mo. 
-Forklift Certification
-OSHA 10 Certification
-Aerial Lift Certification
-Weld tests
