Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician needed in New Carlisle, IN!

Shift is 6am-2pm (some OT before or after shift times). Pay $22-$25/hour, depending on experience

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production by maintaining and improving equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on a variety of equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and auxiliary systems.

Key Responsibilities:
-Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs.
-Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.).
-Install and maintain equipment per safety and mechanical standards.
-Maintain accurate maintenance records and work logs.
-Coordinate downtime and repairs with production management.

Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-1–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience or training.
-Strong Electrical background in Steel Manufacturing preferred
-Must have personal toolbox and general maintenance tools.
