Electrician

Trillium Construction is seeking Journeyman Electricians for commercial construction projects in Fargo, ND.

This position requires a skilled electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems while ensuring compliance with local and national electrical codes. You will work independently and oversee apprentice electricians, providing guidance and ensuring safety on the job site. Pay rate is $36-40 per hour (DOE).

Key Responsibilities:
-Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
-Run and bend conduit, pull wire, and make proper electrical terminations.
-Test and inspect electrical components for safety and functionality.
-Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
-Supervise and mentor apprentice electricians, ensuring proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
-Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, and other trades to maintain job site efficiency.

Requirements:
-Must hold a valid North Dakota Journeyman Electrician license or be eligible for reciprocity.
-Minimum 2+ years of commercial electrical experience.
-Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
-Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, and electrical troubleshooting.
-Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team setting.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions, including standing, bending, and climbing ladders.
-Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
