Regulatory Compliance Technician

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Regulatory Compliance Technician in Pomona!

Work is full-time, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Regulatory Compliance Technician is responsible for testing, inspecting, and documenting equipment to ensure compliance with various standards, including ANSI, UL, ETL, NSF, and CE, as well as international regulations. The technician will perform quality checks on all electrical drawings created or revised by electrical engineers and external contractors. This role also involves assisting the Engineering Manager in overseeing the electrical engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
-Team Support: Assist the Engineering Manager in directing the electrical engineering staff and contributing to performance reviews.
-Drawing Verification: Review electrical engineering drawings and production packages for accuracy and completeness before release.
-Training: Train electrical engineers to serve as backups for regulatory compliance responsibilities.
-Documentation: Record testing results for components and procedures by equipment serial numbers.
-Compliance Management: Update necessary lists to ensure that parts and components meet compliance requirements.
-Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all testing equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and certified.
-Troubleshooting: Conduct electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve malfunctions, ensuring wiring adheres to schematics. Program inverters and temperature controllers as needed.
-Testing Operations: Operate test equipment for combustion emissions and electrical integrity.

Additional Duties:
-Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an industrial technical school or related training program preferred.
-Minimum of two years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
-Knowledge of natural gas combustion systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is desirable.
-PLC programming experience is a plus.
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is an advantage.
-Ability to interact positively and professionally with customers while maintaining integrity.
-Commitment to ethical principles and compliance with all laws and regulations.
-Strong organizational and time management skills, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
-Ability to work collaboratively with team members and establish credibility at all organizational levels.
-Domestic travel up to 10% may be required.
-Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record are necessary.
