Trillium Professional is now seeking a Director of IT Support for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Applications in Glendale!

This is a direct-hire position and the annual salary is $140k/year.

This Director-level role emphasizes hands-on IT leadership and support, team management, vendor oversight, and strategic contributions to business applications.

A large healthcare system is seeking a Director of IT Support for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Business Applications. This role will focus on overseeing the IT support for critical hospital business applications, including Revenue Cycle Management, Patient Registration, Scheduling, Medical Records, and related administrative functions. The Director will ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of these IT systems, while managing a team of technical professionals. This position reports to the Vice President of Applications and is designed for a candidate with strong IT leadership experience in the Revenue Cycle Management space.

The ideal candidate will have a robust IT background in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems, team management experience, and a solid understanding of hospital business operations, including patient access, coding, billing, and claims processing. The Director will be responsible for system optimization, vendor contract negotiations, and technical team leadership, all while ensuring that the IT systems effectively support the core business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee the IT support function for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) applications, as well as related administrative applications such as Patient Registration, Scheduling, and Medical Records.
-Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, ensuring prompt and effective responses to system incidents, enhancement requests, and business support needs.
-Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize workflows, improve user experience, and address the technical requirements of revenue cycle and patient access functions.
-Oversee system upgrades, data integrity, and integration between various business systems such as billing platforms, clearinghouses, and EMRs.
-Manage vendor contract reviews, including negotiations, and ensure compliance with service level agreements to support business and technical objectives.
-Participate in go-live readiness, testing coordination, and post-implementation validation for RCM-related IT projects.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, CMS, and other applicable healthcare regulations.
-Champion process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives to optimize Revenue Cycle operations and business performance.
-Mentor and develop a high-performing technical support team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
-8+ years of experience in IT support within Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), with a focus on business applications and healthcare IT systems.
-3+ years of people management experience, leading technical teams and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
-Deep experience with Meditech and/or other EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and associated RCM workflows such as coding, billing, claims processing, and revenue cycle management.
-Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and managing third-party vendor relationships.
-Demonstrated success supporting business operations and technical systems within a large hospital or healthcare system.
-Ability to work EST hours, with occasional travel for go-lives, testing, and other project milestones.
-Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

-A hands-on leader who can balance technical expertise with team management and strategic planning in a healthcare setting.
