Industrial Painter

Trillium Professional is now seeking an Industrial Painter of aircraft parts in Chatsworth, CA!

Job Duties:
-Responsibilities include, but are not limited overseeing painting processes and techniques.
-Shall act as a lead person to the painters; this will include training others with less experience.
-Must be able to communicate with planning to maintain proper paint and necessary equipment stock.
-Able to read manufacturing painting specifications, mixing requirements, ratios and applications processes.
-Must have complete knowledge of finishing surfaces by grinding, sanding and/or polishing prior to priming process.
-Shall insure all paints are mixed per manufacturing guidelines and maintain proper paperwork for traceability requirements.
-Must have knowledge of sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure.
-Must have previous knowledge of spraying with lacquers.  Spraying with epoxies a plus.
-Responsible for maintenance and care of spraying equipment.
-Must be able to lift one gallon paint cans throughout the day during application process (approximately 6 gallons used per day).
-Must follow company policies which include wearing personal protective equipment when required.

Pay rate is $32 per hour. Schedule is Monday thru Thursday, 6:15 am thru 4:45 pm (Position is Hourly Non-Exempt).

-Minimum 5 years experience.
-Familiar with painting of assembled aircraft parts painted with Mil-spec leading edge applications.
-Certification in related field required.
-Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
-Punctual and reliable person.
-Must exhibit good judgment.  Personal as well as professional integrity. Self motivated (independent)
-Must possess good communication and hands on skills.
