Trillium Construction is hiring for a Project Superintendent to oversee and manage federal medical facility construction at the U.S. military base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

This opportunity is full-time, long-term, and direct hire opportunity with a large, nationwide contractor that specializes in DoD projects!

Duties:
-Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
-Investigates safety incidents and retrains staff and needed.
-Provides management of trades and organization of the overall job and workflow.
-Develops work plans for trades and self-performed work.
-Coordinates and manages of the project sites.
-Creates, manages, changes and implements the project’s schedule as needed, in conjunction with the PM schedule.
-Communicates key project information to upper management, design team, NAVFAC (ET) authorities, trades/subcontractors, suppliers and other departments etc.
-Supports the project closeouts by supervising pre-punch activities and coordinating activities with the governing authorities. (NAVFAC)

Compensation:
-Annual salary between $155,000 - $165,000

Qualifications:
-A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required for this position. 
-College courses in construction management, engineering, etc. preferred. 
-Five or more years of work experience in a superintendent position on a medical project valued over $50 million (e.g., scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production of all phases in construction) on large projects is required. 
-Ten or more years (or equivalent) of field or trade work experience is in the construction industry highly desirable; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Work in the design-build industry is preferred. 
-Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required. -Training can be provided. 
-Specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, Oracle, BIM, Revit) preferred. Training can be provided. 
-CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications, EM-385, and STS required; Training can be provided. 
-LEED GA Credential desirable. 
-Must possess a valid U.S. Passport
-Ability to pass a federal background check, and other pre-employment screenings
