Quality Technician

Trillium Staffing is hiring a Quality Technician in Princeville, IL!

The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting and testing and ensures compliance with industry standards. This role involves conducting detailed inspections, identifying defects, and working closely with production staff and management to resolve quality issues. This position will entail a variety of jobs. The Quality Tech will be responsible for checking metal parts during the first step of the manufacturing process as well as at the final stage.  

Responsibilities will include:
-Conducting inspections based on engineering drawing and blueprints.
-Conducting visual inspections to identify surface defects.
-Evaluating products at multiple stages of the production process.
-Documenting non-conforming products.
-Providing quality related support to manufacturing.
-Documenting measurement results.
-Other details as assigned.

The Quality Technician is a 1st shift position, 6am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday. Overtime on Fridays may be required. Pay ranges from $22-$24/hour based on experience. This position is full-time and temp-to-hire.

Qualifications
-3+ years of quality control / inspection experience 
-Ability to read tape measures, calipers, protractors/angle finders, height gages, go-no gages, and blueprints 
-Experience with computers
-Strong attention to detail
