Service Technician
Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Service / Support Technician in the Battle Creek, Michigan area.
This is a direct hire opportunity. Pay range is $32.00 to $35.00 an hour. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (Hours may vary during travel) Must be able to travel up to 75%.
This hands-on role provides advanced technical support and equipment servicing to both internal and external customers, in-house and on-site. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, equipment rebuilds, installations, and technical training.
Key Responsibilities for the After Sales Support Technician:
-Adhere to all safety policies and wear required PPE
-Provide expert technical support and customer service
-Troubleshoot and repair complex electro-mechanical systems
-Perform equipment installations, inspections, and commissioning
-Deliver technical training and mentor service staff
-Collect and analyze field data for product improvement
-Support Applications team with process troubleshooting
-Maintain detailed service documentation and assist with quotes
-Provide programming assistance (Siemens & Allen Bradley)

Qualifications for the Service Support Technician:
-Associate’s Degree in a technical field preferred
-8+ years’ experience servicing industrial/capital equipment
-Strong knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley systems
-Proficient in mechanical drawings, schematics, and diagnostics
-Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
-Familiar with Microsoft Office and hand tools
-Must hold Chauffeur’s license, medical card, and be passport-eligible
-Must be able to report the local office each day and work in the assembly area when not traveling
