Assistant Project Manager

Trillium Construction is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the project management team in the successful execution of large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects.

The APM will assist in planning, coordination, and oversight of construction activities from pre-construction through project closeout.

Key Responsibilities:
-Assist the Project Manager in managing all phases of the construction project lifecycle.
-Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
-Track project schedules, budgets, and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
-Support in procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
-Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation.
-Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
-Assist with project reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks.
-Participate in project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
-Help manage punch lists and project close-out procedures.

Compensation:
-Annual salary between $80,000 - $100,000
-M/V/D benefits

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
-2–5 years of experience in commercial construction (preferably in a Project Coordinator or APM role).
-Knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and budgeting.
-Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera).
-Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
-OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
