Senior Cabling Technician - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is now seeking Structured Cabling Sr Technicians for a large data center project in Austin, TX starting April 15th.

Sr Technicians will be leading the installation trouble shooting, and maintenance of data centers. Sr technicians will be leading the installation and maintenance teams for fiber and coper cabling. Sr technicians will supervise, monitor and mentor entry level and junior techs to ensure high quality. Sr technicians must maintain accurate documentation of cable layouts, network schematics, and any changes made to cabling systems during the project. Sr technicians will be working with project managers, and engineers.

The work schedule will be Monday-Saturday working 60-72 hours. Pay for this position is $36 and per diem is $90 per days worked.

-Sr technicians must have at least 3+ year of experience in cabling installations and maintenance specifically in data centers or technician III cert in hand.
-Sr technicians must have extensive knowledge with fiber optic splicing, testing and troubleshooting.
-Sr technicians must be able to work independently.
-Candidates must supply all tools of the trade (list will be provided) and wear standard PPE (list will be provided).
-Candidates must pass all pre-employment screenings.
